Carrot crops grow in all places over the world.
Thats why all students of the world have possibility make
experiments, observations and biochemical researches.
This caused its selection as a subject of
researches. Carrot (Daucus carotau) is tubercular plant of the
family of Umbrelliferae. It is not known when and by whom it was
brought in Georgia, but it is know that in 1841 it was taken in the
list of vegetables by Vakhushty Bagrationy.
It is two-years tubercular plant. In the first year
it yields the leaves and the fruit and on the second year it yields
the seeds. For its development it is necessary to provide nutrition
elementsand relevant water content in the soil, warm, light and
oxygen. Carrot is the cold resistant. The plant springs up at 4-5
0 C.
Maximum temperature is 18-25 0 C. Higher temperatures negatively impact
o the yields, photosynthesis. In the vegetation period, lock of
water hinders growth of yields. Excess acidity of the soils also
impact negatively. PH must be neutral. In the soil quantity of
nutrition elements shouldnt be grown only though increase of the
quantity of fertilizers, absorption ability should be also
increased, what could be achieved by means of various additives. In
our case, ther are used zeolites.
Carrot is regarded as a source of carotene (vitamin
A). 100g. Fresh carrot contains about 9g. Carotene. By the day human
bodys demand is 15mg. It also contains vitamins of B group
(thiamine, tichoflakin, nicotine acid). Ascorbic acid (vitamin C)
in caroot is from 5 to 16 mg. %.
There are spread several species of carrots, we
applied Nante.
The soil (brown colour, from the meadow was been
taken from the yeard of lept school number 43.
Zeolite-Klinophtilolite from Tedzami Georgia was
